HowTo: Reset a SpeechAir after the PIN is lost or forgotten

To perform a factory reset on the SpeechAir device, please follow the steps outlined below:

Note: [+] button corresponds to volume up, and [-] button corresponds to volume down.

• Power off your SpeechAir device.
• Press and hold the [+] button.
• While continuing to hold the [+] button, press the Power button (both buttons should be held simultaneously).
• Release both buttons when the red light appears on your SpeechAir device.
• You should now see the Android logo displayed on your screen.
• Press the [+] button again to access Recovery Mode.
• Navigate using the [-] button to select "wipe/factory reset."
• Confirm your selection by pressing the Power button.
• Use the [-] button to navigate to "Yes – delete all user data."
• Confirm your selection by pressing the Power button.
• Wait for the process to complete and select "reboot system now."
• Press the Power button, and the SpeechAir device will reboot automatically.
• Please remember to update the PVR application, as it will revert to an earlier version following the reset.
