- The user tries to login with her existing product key, and since the license validity period elapsed, this screen is displayed:
- Press OK to go back to previous Log in page and click on "Change product key...":
- Then the user can specify a new product key on this page:
- After trying to login with the new product key the following page is displayed:

This is the behaviour of the latest SE Pro version, in earlier versions this screen may not appear and instead the error message ’Product Key not assigned to Speech Profile’ is displayed.In most cases the user would:
- select the first option, Assign registration to existing SpeechID
- go through the account credentials specification pages to verify the registration details
- and press the Start license registration button on the ‘Privacy and Consent’ page:

At this point the following scenarios may happen:
- the product key exists in the SpeechProfile DB, but it has already been activated for a different SpeechProfile:
- the product key exists in the SpeechProfile DB, it is not yet activated for any SpeechID – the user’s activation is successful:
- the product key exists in the SpeechProfile DB, but it has already been activated for a different SpeechProfile:
