The Philips Software Development Kit (SDK) acts as an interface to Philips Dictation Hardware for a quick and reliable integration.

Hardware SDK v4.6.460.21
New logging
With this release, we introduce new logging for all Windows HWSDK, extensions and driver components. The new logging is more robust, more reliable and, above all, tremendously faster than the old logging system! New logging can be configured using a tool with an UI, instead of struggling with .ini files.
Furthermore, with new logging, generated log files are not scattered all over the hard drive but collected in one place.
New SpeechControl features
We have implemented a long-time customer request and support mapping single modifier keys like Ctrl or Shift to SpeechMike/Foot control buttons.
Furthermore, SpeechControl now provides a setting to switch the sampling rate of SpeechMikes to 44100Hz instead of the default 22050Hz to work around issues some platforms/drivers have with the SpeechMike´s default sampling rate.
New public HWSDK features
We have implemented a property to get and set the sampling rate of SpeechMikes. Changing the sampling rate to 44100Hz instead of the default 22050Hz helps working around issues some platforms/drivers have with the SpeechMike´s default sampling rate.
Optimizing remote extension protocol
We have implemented a property to get and set the sampling rate of SpeechMikes. Changing the sampling rate to 44100Hz instead of the default 22050Hz helps working around issues some platforms/drivers have with the SpeechMike´s default sampling rate.
Availability of Hardware SDK
All HWSDK 4.6.460.21 components are made available for download on our website in the week of June 27th 2022.
