HowTo: Disable Audio Enhancements

Open the sound control panel (mmsys.cpl)

1. Select tab "Recording".
2. Select the proper audio device.
3. Click "Properties".
   
   
   
4. Select tab "Advanced".
5. Un-check "Enable audio enhancements".
6. Click "OK" and close the panel.
