With SpeechLive, you can set multiple preferred or alternative typists. This way, if someone is absent or busy, another person is automatically notified. This ensures flexibility and reliable processing of your dictations.
Below, we will show you step by step how to set up and optimally use this system.
In SpeechLive, administrators can create multiple teams and configure user relationships accordingly. Each team can consist of one or more typists.
After setting up multiple teams, the following behavior applies:
- When finishing a dictation, the author can select which team the dictation should be sent to.
- This allows multiple typists or typist groups to be used effectively.
- The "Alternative Team" function technically allows only exactly one additional team.
- If multiple teams are to be flexibly selectable, the "Preferred Team" must be deactivated; otherwise, dictations will automatically be sent there.
The setup of teams and user relationships is done in the administration area of SpeechLive. A detailed step-by-step guide is provided by Philips here:

Conclusion
Multiple typists are easily possible in SpeechLive as long as they are organized via teams. For maximum flexibility in selecting the target team, the use of a fixed Preferred Team should be avoided.
