The SpeechOne headset is designed with energy efficiency in mind. If it remains inactive for a period exceeding six hours, it will automatically shut down to conserve battery life. This feature is particularly beneficial for users who may forget to turn off their devices, ensuring that the headset does not waste power unnecessarily.

In addition to the automatic shutdown feature, you also have the option to manually power down your SpeechOne headset whenever you choose. To do this, you can follow these straightforward steps:

1. Begin by carefully removing the headset from its docking station. This step is essential as it prepares the device for manual shutdown.
2. Next, locate the Pairing button on your SpeechOne headset. Once you have found it, press and hold this button for a duration of nine seconds. This action will initiate the shutdown process, ensuring that the headset is powered off effectively.
