How to get clean Windows 10 operating system after SpeechExec Pro Dictation trial installation?
- Try to revoke your licenses in all installed applications
- Close any running Philips applications, including non-SpeechExec applications
- Close Microsoft Outlook or other E-Mail Software
- Save your work that you may have open in other applications. It is recommended to close other running applications, too.
- Go to Control Panel\Programs and Features
Click with right mouse button on software and select Uninstall
- SpeechExec Pro Dictate or SpeechExec Pro Transcribe
- Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 ENU
- Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 x64 ENU
- Microsoft SQL Server Compact 4.0 SP1 x64 ENU
You can save the folders for backups, or delete this:
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Philips Speech\SpeechExec\
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Philips Speech\SpeechExec\
The easy, automatically part is done, then we can start with manual system cleaning.
- Remove SpeechExec applications shortcuts from Desktop and Start Menu
- Delete, if available, C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Philips Speech Shared and all its subfolders.
- Delete C:\Users\<%USERNAME%>\AppData\Roaming\Philips Speech and all its subfolders
- Delete folder C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\
- Go to the %TEMP% folder (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp)
- delete, if available, SpeechExecTempAttachments subfolder
- delete, if available, SpeechExecUpdater subfolder
and any other subfolders and Files
Go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64
Delete, if available:

Go to the .NET assembly cache folder, usually C:\Windows\assembly\NativeImages_v4.0.30319_32 and try to delete the following entries, if available:
- everything that starts with Infragistics2
- Interop.SMExAudio
- PIA.DPMCtrlLib
- PIA.SpMikeCtrl
- PSP.SpeechExec.UICommon
- PSP.SpeechExec.PropertyControls
- PSP.SpeechExec.Internal
- PSP.SpeechExec.Enterprise.LicenseClient
- PSP.SpeechExec..Common
- PSP.SpeechExec.AudioManager
- PSP.SpeechExec.AudioCustomControl
- PSP.SpeechExec.Core
- PSP.SpeechEXXXXXXXXX
- SpeechExec.XXXXXXXX
Go to C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_32 and try to delete, if available, the following subfolders:
- everything that starts with PSP.SpeechExec
- everything that starts with SpeechExec
Open the Registry Editor
- Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Assemblies and delete, if available, all its subkeys whose name contains the word SpeechExec
- Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products and find all those child keys here for which any of their values contain the word SpeechExec
- note the name of these relevant child keys
- note the paths stored in the Transform value. These usually start with: C:\Windows\Installer\ and contain a product-specific GUID (like HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\305B1852851718B45AF5374844D864A7) number
- delete the relevant child keys
- Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Features
- locate child keys with the same names that you noted before
- delete these child keys
- Perform steps for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products and delete (like HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\305B1852851718B45AF5374844D864A7) same key
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Features, respectively
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
- Delete those values whose name or data contains ’SpeechExec’
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ and delete Philips Speech
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDLLs and delete those values that contain ’Philips Speech Shared’ or ’SpeechExec’
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\drivers.desc and delete the following values, if available:
- pspgru.acm
- psptrusp.acm
- smcelp32.acm
- smlpcbb.acm
- xmcipspct.dll
- xmcipspwa.dll
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32
- msacm.pspgru
- msacm.pspspeex
- msacm.psptrusp
- msacm.smcelp32
- msacm.smlpcbb
Finally, open the Edit Menu, select Find… and search for SpeechExec. Activate Look at Keys, Values and Data.
Restart the PC.
